April TBA --- Planting at Lauritzen Gardens
May 1-3 --- Spring into Spring -- Lauritzen Garden Rose Sale -- Visit the rose booth. This is Lauritzen Botanical's Spring Flower Show
May 21st --- " Winners and Whiners" --- Getting ready for the show -- At Lauritzen Garden on Sunday, June 7, from 10 AM to 4PM in the Visitor and Education center is Omaha Rose Society's Show.
June 6th --- Rose Walk at Lauritzen Gardens at 2:00 PM; led by Joanne Langabee, Rose Society Vice President
June 7th --- Rose Show at Lauritzen Gardens 1:30 - 4:30 PM. Included in the event will be the Suzuki violinists,a sale of Easy Elegance and Buck Roses, a demonstration on floral arrangements and a display of the Rose Photography Show. Experience how to grow your own beautiful roses. Show opens at 1:30 PM to the public with award presentation. Charles Anctil of Moffett Nursery will be available to share tips on rose selection and buying. Fred Foster, arrangement judge will demonstrate how he wins the "Best of the Show". Speaker at 2:30 PM "Public Rose Gardens"
June 18th --- Tour two local rose gardens --- "Ice Cream Social and Hybridizing" meet at Extension Office (8015 West Center Road , Omaha) at 5:00 PM --- members free non members $5.00 Contact jlangabee@cox.net by June 16th
July 16th --- "6 Pack of Roses" -- bring six roses and come to the meeting. We will share likes/dislikes.
August TBA --- Picnic at Haworth Park
September 17th --- "Rose Craft Night" edible roses, dried arrangements and popouri.
Ocotber 15th --- Rose Jeopardy
